A quantitative trading firm explains itself to two audiences at once: institutions who want liquidity, and engineers who want hard problems. This concept builds one structure that serves both.

[ 01 ] Overview

Two audiences,
one structure

The existing site is confident and unusually well made — dense illustration, playful puzzles, a strong voice. What it does not have is a clear split between the institutional story and the recruiting story.

This concept keeps the firm's warm paper, its red and the hexagon that runs through its identity, and reorganises the surface: a plain-spoken homepage, a client page that reads like a capability sheet, and a culture section that stays human without becoming a brochure.

[ 02 ] Principles
Plain language first
Trading firms hide behind abstraction. Every headline in this concept says a concrete thing a person could repeat out loud.
The hexagon is the grid
The mark's geometry becomes structural: tiles, bullets and section markers all derive from the same six-sided module.
Blocks, not rules
Sections are separated by solid tone and a 4px seam rather than borders. The page reads as assembled parts.
Red is a pointer
One red per screenful, always on the thing you should do next. Never decorative, never a background wash.

Decisions made
for the visitor

A firm this technical attracts visitors who scan rather than read. These are the changes that make the site faster to use rather than better looking.

Navigation
Search is visible
Search sits in the bar as a labelled control, not a bare icon, and appears first in the mobile sheet.
Orientation
Section always stated
The active top-level item is red and every section carries a persistent sub-nav, so no page is a dead end.
Legibility
No type under 13px
Uppercase mono is set at 13px with loosened tracking; reading passages use a serif at 16–19px.
Contrast
AA on every pairing
Red is only ever used on white or near-black, never on the paper tone, where it would fall below the threshold.
Targets
44px minimum
Mobile list rows and buttons clear 44px, and the whole row is tappable rather than the label alone.
Priority
One primary action
Each screen carries a single filled red button. Everything else is an outline or a text link.
