Redesign Concepts

We take websites we can't stop critiquing and rebuild them — no brief, no client, no permission asked. Every concept below is unofficial and self-initiated.

Signed off by committee One thing to do

Drag — most corporate homepages start on the left

Four rules we
hold ourselves to

Real sites, current state

We work from what is actually live today, not from a screenshot we found in a moodboard three years ago.

Reasoning, not just pixels

Every concept shows why a decision was made. A prettier hero that solves nothing is not a redesign.

Credit where it's due

If a site already does its job well, we say so plainly and build on what works instead of manufacturing problems.

Unofficial, always labelled

None of this is commissioned or endorsed. Each concept says so on the page, and trademarks stay with their owners.

Firms everyone in finance
already has an opinion about

Banks and trading firms with enormous budgets — and homepages that rarely reflect them.

Want this kind of thinking
on your site?

Fold Design takes on a limited number of redesign projects each quarter.
